Day 1: Arrive Paro by Air & transfer to Thimphu:

Welcome at Paro Airport located at 2200Mts. Complete your immigration formalities and baggage collection afterwards you will be met by our representative of Exclusive Excursion Pvt.Ltd and you will be driven away to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. En-route stop at Chuzom, the union of Thimphu and Paro rivers. Three dissimilar style of stupas; Tibetan, Nepalese and Bhutanese embellish this convergence. On arrival, check-into the hotel. In the evening have afact-finding walk across Thimphu on the main street and market area. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Thimpu:

In the morning stopoverat handmade paper mill, School of Arts and crafts (closed on Sundays, government holidays) where students acquire 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan.

Continue your visit to national library & Bhutan museum. Also experience Archery at the Museum Itself. Drive pass by memorial Chorten constructed in reminiscence of the 3rd King. Visit Buddha viewpoint, Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley, Enclosure where national animal, Takin are kept and Zilukha Nunnery. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha (75 km, 3 hrs approx):

Today’s drive clears through (3100mts) formulating the most beautiful pass in Bhutan. 108 Druk built over the pass by queen mother in 2003 marks the pass more important than another passes. When the climate permits one can enjoy a stunning view of the highest mountains of Bhutan at a sight that expanses almost 180 degrees. After a photo break, we will continue our drive to Punakha. On arrival, check into the hotel. Afternoon, we will visit the most beautiful, which houses the most developed temple in the country. The Dzong, showcase the best example of the arts and crafts of Bhutan.

Day 4: Punakha – Paro (125 km, 4hr drive):

After breakfast drive back to Paro plunging back On from Dochu La, trail the way back up the histrionic Wang Chhu and Paro Chhu river valleys, before crossing across Paro onnear the north end of the valley. On arrival after visit Watchtower, which now houses National Museum. The extensive collection includes historic thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons & armour, household objects and a rich assortment of natural and historic relics. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day 5: Paro:

After breakfast have excursion to Taktshang Monastery (approx 5 hours walk): It is one of the most famous of Bhutan’s monasteries, hovering on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche reached here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hereafter it is called ‘Tiger’s Nest’. Afternoon drive to a crumbling fortress where Bhutanese warriors fought Tibetan intruders centuries ago. The snowy dome of sacred Chomolhari, “mountain of goddess” can be seen in all her magnificence from the approach road to the Dzong. Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day 6: Depart Paro:

After early breakfast at the hotel, drive to the airport for flight to your onward destination. Tour Ends
